Where The Wild Things Are

This is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. They took one of my favorite childhood books and ruined it. The only good thing in this movie is the physical portrayal of the wild things but there was no plot. Granted, the book was not designed to be a feature length film so I expected the writers to take some liberty with the plot but instead we have a lonely kid who acts out and then finds himself on an island with monsters who are just as dysfunctional as his real family. There is no moral to the story, there is no fun. This movie just leaves the viewer feeling sad and depressed. Save your money, buy the book and never see the movie.
